March 5 ( Citizen.lk News)-The Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) Seva Vanitha Unit successfully hosted a grand celebration to mark International Women’s Day 2026. The event, held on March 4 at the Eagles Lagoon View Hotel in Katunayake, was organized in collaboration with British Cosmetics under the guidance of the Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe.
Designed to promote wellness, confidence, and personal development, the celebration honored the vital contributions of women within the service. The day began with an energetic Zumba session that set a vibrant tone for the festivities, followed by a beauty and self-care workshop. This segment, supported by British Cosmetics, offered the participants professional insights into skincare, grooming, and overall well-being.
The event also featured inspiring guest lectures from Dr. Shanika Arusakularathne and Dr. Sulochana Sigera. The speakers shared expert knowledge on health, empowerment, and personal growth, providing the attendees with practical tools for both their professional and personal lives.
