January 20 (Citizen.lk News) -On January 1, 2026, the staff of People’s Bank began the new year with a special ceremony at People’s Tower, Colombo 02, taking the public service pledge.
The event was attended by the bank’s chairman, Professor Narada Pranandu, and CEO/General Manager Clive Fonseka, along with institutional and executive management, trade union representatives, religious leaders, and staff. The program included a multi-faith blessing ceremony.
Simultaneously, special events were held at branches across the country, where branch staff also took the public service pledge, marking the start of the new year with a commitment to serving the nation.
