January 13 (Citizen.lk News) - The Cabinet has decided to implement the proposed Grade 6 education reforms from 2027, instead of 2026, the Cabinet Spokesperson announced.
The decision allows more time to review the Grade 6 English curriculum, following concerns raised about its content and implementation process.
Meanwhile, the Cabinet confirmed that the existing Grade 1 module will continue without any changes.
