October 07 (Citizen.lk News ) - A couple was found hacked to death with sharp weapons at a house in Wadigala, Hungama, early this morning, police said.
The victims, a 28-year-old man from Ranna and a 28-year-old woman from Tissamaharama, were reportedly in a relationship and had been staying at a friend’s house.
Police said around five masked individuals had broken into the house and attacked the couple with sharp weapons.
Investigations are underway to determine the motive behind the murder.
Hungama Police are continuing their investigations.
