February 17 (Citizen.lk News)- President Anura Kumara Dissanayake departed for New Delhi today to attend the 4th India AI Impact Summit 2026 at Bharat Mandapam. Under the theme "People, Planet, and Progress," the President will join 20 world leaders and tech icons like Sundar Pichai and Bill Gates to shape global AI policy.
A key highlight of the visit will be the President's address on February 19 and high-level bilateral talks with leaders such as French President Emmanuel Macron.
This year’s summit specifically aims to amplify the voice of the Global South, ensuring that AI advancements drive inclusive growth and social development for all nations, rather than being limited to a few wealthy regions.
