June 24 (Citizen News) - The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced that a 24-hour water cut will be imposed in several areas from 8:00 p.m. today (24).
According to the NWSDB, the water supply will be suspended in the Padukka, Homagama, Kottawa, Pannipitiya, and Palanwatta areas from 8:00 p.m. today until 8:00 p.m. tomorrow (25).
Meanwhile, the Maharagama area will experience a low-pressure water supply during this period.
The NWSDB stated that the disruption is due to essential maintenance work being carried out on the main pipeline supplying water from Kalatuwawa to Boralesgamuwa.
